Professional Level, .3 ASHA CEUs
Speakers: Erasmia Benakis, Olivia Blake, Maria Fareri, and Penelope Romano
The Clinical Field Placement Team (CFPT) at New York University is a dedicated group of Speech-Language Pathologists specializing in the intersection of clinical education and field administration. As the bridge between academic theory and clinical practice, the CFPT oversees the complex logistics of student placements while ensuring the highest standards of supervised training.
With decades of collective experience, the team is recognized for its expertise in clinical supervision and mentorship. They are frequent presenters at national and regional conferences, sharing insights on how best to support the symbiotic relationship between supervisors and graduate students. Committed to excellence in the field, the CFPT works to empower the next generation of SLPs and the professionals who guide them. Together, they developed the Dialogue in Sync tool used for field placement training. NYU has copyright privileges over this document.
All are creators of the Dialogue in Sync Tool, which is NYU-owned and available for a fee. Presenters may receive compensation from licensing arrangements and are receiving an honorarium from the Greater New York Council of Academic Clinical Educators in CSD
All presenters are employees of New York University.
